Ok, it does spin fairly easily. But why would that suddenly happen? And is it not strange that all these problems correspond to when I upgraded my app work recently?

Is Blackberry likely to give me a new battery since their phones cannot even last the length of a 24 month plan? Or am I likely to be expected to buy another one? (in which case I will just buy an iPhone!!)

Hey if you want an iPhone, go for it.

You can't even remove that battery.

It sounds like to me your battery has had some heat damage. That makes it bulge.

You need to replace it.

Every phone I have ever had I have kept at least 3 batteries in reserve. Always charged. In case I get somewhere there is not a place to charge it.

I do the same. At $6-8 USD, it's worth it.
