Receiving Error: E net.rim.media - What does it mean and How do I fix it

I am using an unlocked Torch 9800 on T-Mobile. I have expercienced significant freezing with the device and am having to reset a few times a day. just recently I decided to check the event log to see what the issue might be. I noticed today I am receiving this error on my torch that is causing it to freeze ever few minutes.

 

E net.rim.media - [stopself] streamingException: met.rim.device.internal.streamingnatives.streamingexception: session not opened

 

What is this and How do I fix it? I am hoping this resolution will fix my freezing problem.

what OS are you on? Type in a new message MYVER and a space after to see and report back please.

 

I am on OS 246 and it ihas been very solid compared to older versions.

6.0.0.246. I think this error is what is causing the freezing.

if you open media player is there anything that is trying to be played?
