I have a 9810 running against BES. Emailed PDF files are easily opened but when you select (menu or pinch) zoom, the screen goes to black. This will happen about half the time. Escape or exit key will bring you back to the email. All other devices on the BES (9800s and various Bold models) are fine.

Already done:

Battey pull

Checked the phone for updates

Re-pushed service book and policies

Patched BES

Anyone run into this?

sometimes when we open the files downloaded from emails, e.g : pdf, or picture (jpg) the device needs a few minutes to refresh the files, this will cause some problems like stutter images, and blank documents when you try to zoom it, etc... try to give a couple of minutes, see if the problem is still there...

I'm running into the same problem although it doesn't happen with all PDF's.  Is there some glitch with the built in view?

I have the same problem with my Bold 9900, as soon as I zoom the screen goes black.

I have even tried a new phone and it still does the same thing
