Auto-suggest helps you quickly narrow down your search results by suggesting possible matches as you type.
What doesn't work with it? When you slide out the keyboard, the virtual keyboard disappears and the physical keyboard is active. Is it the physical keyboard that doesn't work? If that's the case, try removing your battery with your phone powered on then replace it.
