That's where our phones differ. Unfortunately RIM doesn't seem to be concerned about helping out when it comes to the e-screen

Re: Solution for Blackberry 9860 upside down / inverted mirrored display

Surprised! fellow frustrated BB users.=) yesterday i went to repair technician to check my BB. They reprogram my BB 9860, downgrade and update OS - no luck problem is still there. They try to connect other new LCD -still no hope. they told me the problem might be the IC chip connected to board. but the fix charge to them is so high. i got no money to fix... haixt..

Re: Solution for Blackberry 9860 upside down / inverted mirrored display

It worked downgrading and upgrading the os...I had all the os version for my fone 4rm 7.0 to 7.1 installation files...Initially tried the downgrade and upgrade months ago but it didn't work..But now gave it another try and this time while I was installing d os 2 my system I chose usa instead to usually nigeria,my location, and surprisingly it worked..The rest os I installed I chose usa and for more than a wk..My fone is working fine....

So others who having similar issues..If your location doesn't work try other locations...you never can tell it could fix it..Finally a lasting solution.

Re: Solution for Blackberry 9860 upside down / inverted mirrored display

Guys, BB have not been any help whatso ever. Came accross this page and hey presto an answer to my problems! I changed the digitizer front panel and then had the inverted mirrored display and was tearing my hair out!

Here is how I did it:

Using BlackBerry Desktop software, clicked on UPDATE button

Chose to downgrade to OS 7.0 earliest version available and installed it

That didn't work for me so chose next version on list

Installed that and now my screen is back to normal!

Now going to install and update to latest OS 7.1 and see what that does!

Thanks very much for posting solutions on this page.
