Synching...

On occasion, my new BB Torch 9800 will screen freeze after a synch completion. The pics left on the Torch screen are as if it is still synching, which it is not - at least, according to Desktop Manager.

 

The only thing to do is a battery pull.

 

Glitch or like the wonderful *cough* techies at Rogers tell you - it's obviously a hardware issue and we can issue you a ticket to replace your phone within 30 days for a new phone. **bleep**, it's only 3 days old.
