Syncing with bluetooth not working well

I am having trouble syncing outlook content to BB 9800 and vice versa when using bluetooth.  It works for a few days and then just does not. 

I have reinstalled desktop manager a few times now. Re-"paired" my laptop and BB a few times also. Manually installling the BB drivers that dont install on their own.

Every time it works for a short time and then somehow the pairing does not work properly anymore. Pairing seems fine with the laptop its just the BB desktop manager that cannot sync information with the BB. 

 I often get the message that the BB is powering off or has low battery which is not true...

 I would greatly appreciate help with this problem.
