I have bought a blackberry torch and then seperatly bought a sim monthly card from O2, the phone is letting me use the internet services and the BBM but is not letting me use calls and text messages. I was wondering it there is any setting up I need to do to connect the number to the phone or anything I am completley lost with this. Would be a really big help if someone could help me fix this! Thanks

There's nothing on the device which I know of you need to do.
What signal indicator are you getting at the top right?
What happens when you do try to call a number?
I would suggest calling O2 and making sure they provision the device to their system.

I have a normal signal bar in the top corner and also, have all of the capitals like the 3G and things which I have researched.
When I call a number I just get 'no service currently available' I've rang O2 and they say come in store and they will have a look and see what they can do for me.
I'm just wondering if there is something really simple missed because the phone is pretty much brand new and was working around 2weeks ago when I bought it of my friend, but it's just not working for me!

Might out to get a SIM swap from Orange.
Is the mobile network turned on?

You need to call EE then, since your data is working and voice/SMS is not. Those two (voice and SMS) are controlled by the mobile provider, not BlackBerry.
