Have you tried changing the sound profile to see if that helps? Also, are you using a downloaded song or ringtone or a default ringtone for your notification?

I've tried all the ring tones that come with it. They all do the same thing. I finally settled on using a long one but it still doesn't resolve the issue that it only rings once while the vibrator continues to vibrate on each ring.
