i am having the same problem but now my blackberry turns on its red led starts blinking i cant not connect it with desktop manager or with app loader. i tried to wipe it out but it is also come to no point coz i cant connect it. so the condition is really bad the red led keep blinking ny help to get my blackberry torch 9800 back on track plz

Are you able to restart your device in safe mode as shown in KB17877?
I assume, since it's caught in a reboot cycle, when you connect to the Desktop Software it doesn't take a stable connection to reinstall your software?
If that is case, remove your battery and keep it out when you connect to the Desktop Software. You will get a pop up that the device can't connect and there should be Retry, Update and Cancel buttons. Select Update and you will then be able to reinstall the current device software version.
When the load is progressing, you will see a step that says "Wait for device initialization". At this point, insert the battery and the reload should complete.

please help i've got the same problem.... how am i suppose to connect it to the laptop if it won't even come up please...
I would suggest a laptop forum if your laptop is not working.
If you meant the phone wont come up, what do you mean?

basically my blackberry torch freezes while i turned it up since yesterday night.. (comes on with the blackberry logo and the long white loading bar but freezes half way through), i have removed the battery tried a re-boot...but no changes...i don't know how to resolve this...please help!!!!

a PC can see it before it completely boots up.
