I have a Torch 9800, Blackberry Desktop v. 6, and Outlook 2010 (32 bit). When I try to configure settings to sync, I don't get Outlook as an option for the calendar, memo, or tasks. What am I missing????

Have a look at KB02362 "Microsoft Outlook is unavailable as a translator when synchronization options are configured on the BlackBerry Desktop Manager" for assistance.
Let me know how you make out.

I have tried several of these options, but am having no success. Just realized that I didn't specify I am using Outlook 2010. Does that make a difference? Also, it is the trial version of 2010 as we don't want to buy the software until we are sure we can make it work with the Blackberry. Everyone we know that has a BB says how easy it is, but we are not experiencing that at all.

If that is the case, you might want to have this issue escalated to Research In Motion.
Contact your mobile network provider to have this issue investigated.
