I recently upgraded to a Torch 9810 with OS7 on it. Started installing apps (did a clean install of Apps instead of installing from a backup or anything), but when I went to run the app, I couldn't find it in the All tab. But when I go into Options>Device>Apllication Management, it shows the program installed. So tried to install several other apps and the same thing happened.
So I had taken a picture of something and went to the Media tab to view the pictures. And lo and behold, there were all the Apps I installed, in the Media tab. So tried to move them to the All tab and it would let me, only allowed me to move the App to a different location on the Media tab, not to any other tab.
So first, how do I get the Apps to install in the correct folder? And second, how do I move the Apps I do have installed to a different tab?
Thanks.

From your home screen, press the BB menu button. On the menu, you'll see two things that you might be interested in setting.....Manage Panels and Options.
Manage Panels allows you to configure how many panels you wish to use. I've selected only the All panel, so everything gets displayed there.
In Options, this is where you tell your device where you wish to store downloaded Applications in "Downloads Folder."

Seems to work for all new applications I install, but the applications that aready installed in the Media tab, even if I uninstall and reinstall them, they still install back to the Media tab instead of the Applications folder. Any idea how to move the apps out of the Media tab?

Yeah, just highlight the icon you want to move, press the BB menu button, then select either Move or Move to Folder. ![]()

To expound on that a little.....Move will move the icon into a different position in that folder. Move to Folder physically moves the icon/app to another folder on your home screen.

I see a Move option, but I don't see a Move to Folder option. And if I use the Move option, like you said, it just moves within the tab, not to another tab. So when I'm on the Media tab, there is only a Move option.
But if I'm in the Application Folder, then it gives me the Move to Folder option. So it looks like I can move Apps between folders, but not between tabs. Unfortunately, the Apps I'm looking to move are in the Media tab.

Hm. Did you uncheck some of the panels in Manage Panels? Maybe re-check them and then see if that option to Move to Folder shows up in your Media folder.
