Torch isn't booting

Hello all, i have an issue with my Blackberry Torch 9810, it was dropped in a river bed, only for a second. I immediately removed the battery and let it dry for about a week. After i let it dry, i tried to start it. All that happened was the red led light powered on. No screen activity or anything. It just kept flashing that red light. I tried to connect to Destop Manager, and it said i needed to repair my phone. I tried, it got to the Reconnecting to JVM, then just failed. I have tried Loader, bbsak, everything i could possibly find online to fix this, and nothing is working. It still wont let me update or install any os file, and it will not get passed the red light thing. I did manage to see the battery icon, but its just crossed out half the time, and when it works, it just shows the phone charging and wont let me start it. Is there anyone that knows how to fix this, so i don't have to use insurance to get a new one.

REMOVE YOUR BB BATTERY NOW!!!

 

I know you did some things, but they do not, from your post, contain the required process from this FAQ:

Do everything it says, including waiting the maximum recommended time (perhaps longer...perhaps 5 days). Applying power to your BB between it getting wet and doing this process reduces the chances of success. Further, the only thing predictable about moisture intrusion into a BB (indeed, any electronic device) is that the results will be unpredictable. I've seen some come back up right away and be fine. I've seen others never work at all. I've seen still others run for a bit, and then die later. And every thing in between.

Already did that. It was in rice for about 7 days. Guess ill try it again?

Ah...OK...didn't see "rice" in your first post. You can try again, but it's impossible to predict the outcome.

 



You may also want to investigate the use of BBSAK (bbsak.org) to perform the wipe it is capable of.

Yeah i forgot to say i had it in rice. Sorry about that. Any i tried BBSAK, but it cant connect to my phone. Im assuming its toast. Thank you anyways! I'll keep messing with it and let you know the outcome.
