On my Torch 9800, when I make a call the defaults are always speakerphone on an mute on. How can I change the defaults to handset on and mute off?

I have same problem, the only fix i have found so far is a battery pull seems to reset it back to handset as the default and mute off.
anyone else find a fix?

MYVER is an auto text entry that shows you OS version and Model.
Do you use a wired head set at all?
I have seen the contacts be dirty before and plugging it in and out a few times can clean them. Some time a lil bit of oil film from production can do this as well.

Oh thanks,
Where do you type MYVER?
I dont use a wired headset. Rarely use the blue tooth, but I do just pocket the phone and not holster it, so maybe the contacts get dirty in my pocket or something.

Yes this started for me after I used my plug- in headset. I need to use my headset from time to time, so every time I do I have this issue afterwords.
It is very annoying and I have yet to find a solution other than stated above. (pull out battery)
