Transfering data Old BB-new BB

I bought a new BB Torch 9810 to replace a lost BB Torch 9810.  I have backed up the old BB.  Can I restore the data to the new BB Torch? How?  I use blackberrry desktop manager on with a Mac.

I use Desktop Software with a PC so I'm hoping my instructions also apply to your situation.
Once your phone is plugged in and has been recognized by the software, click Device at the top of the software then click Device Transfer. Follow the steps after that.
