Tunnel Failed message...

Hello,

I am having problems running a downloaded application on my Torch. Initally just got a statement saying "APN not specified" I haver spent most of the morning going through various o2 forums and found their codes (APN=wap.o2.co.uk, username=o2wap, password=password).

Now when I run the application I get a simple message that says "Tunnel Failed"

Can anybody help me get past this? I am not a programmer...

Many thanks

Re: Tunnel Failed message...

Confirm the APN settings are saved and still present where you entered them, and now do a simple reboot on the BlackBerry in this manner:

With the BlackBerry device POWERED ON, remove the battery for a minute, and then reinsert the battery to reboot. A reboot in this manner is prescirbed for most gltiches and operating system errors, and you will lose no data on the device doing this.

Now try running your application again.

J Sanders - many, many thanks...

And I thought turning it off and on again was an IT cliche...

Much appreciated...

lol, amazing how well that works.

But notice you DON'T need to turn it off/on... just remove the battery while on.

Good luck.
