When I try to access my BlackBerry ID Account using my phone, I get the message "Unable to retrieve your BlackBerry ID account information."
I have my login information and I can access my BBID through the website, I just can't do it through the BlackBerry ID icon on my phone.
I believe that if I can solve whatever problem this is, I can begin downloading apps again as when I try to download an app, I get the message "Token has expired, please login. (Error Id: 50101)"
So, I suppose there are two problems there. Any help would be appreciated.

Also, I would like to point out how pathetic it is that I have to post on a "support community" rather than just calling. It's a sign of a struggling company. Please set up a call center.
Also, these types of problems shouldn't even exist. I bought a phone that worked, I downloaded apps, then my app world stopped working with no explanation. After searching these forums, I learned that I had to download a new version (why?). So I did that and now it says "Token has expired . . . ."
How can this be? It's a tremendous waste of time and hurts app sales for RIM. This is perhaps why developers don't program on this platform, the phones aren't very customer friendly and the customers don't download apps (because they can't maybe). I'm a well-educated, young man who has interracted with computers and technology since the mid 80s and I've had a hard time figuring out this problem. My much younger brother, who can't figure out how to work even basic technology, has been interracting wonderfully with his IPhone.
This hurts RIM and RIM's customers and I'm sure going to warn people away from this manufacturer.

Have a similar problem. This happened after buying a playbook and using the same username account for both ofthem (phone and playbook). Everytime I try to recover the password from my phone none email is sent to my mobile but if I do the same from a computer I have been able to reset the password. nevertheless this password is not recognised by my phone.
I am very dissapointed. I have wasted a lot of time trying to find a solution. Somebody can help please?

I had the same exact problem and it took me a week to discover the solution. Try this. It works for me. Upgrade your BlackBerry App World. You must be connected to a Wi Fi. Visit www.blackberry.com/appworld/download from your smartphone to download.

Same problem and tried all solutions that I found on internet. NO WAY OUT.
Additionally, now I have to spend a lot of time to get what I need from Blackberry. Don't remember how many time I have to register for something from Blackberry. A Blackberry ID, a sign-in to support forum of Blackberry and a lot sign-in to other support forum to ask for a solution to solve my BB problems.
My first BB was in 2007 and it was great. Now I hate my BB 9930.
