Verify Error

This is my first post here and very well may be the last if BlackBerry don't pull their finger out and fix this 'feature' soon.

 

I have had my BB Torch for 2 years and it has been great ... but now keep getting a VerifyError whenever I try to run a new app I have downloaded.

 

Every search I have made says to ' reload my OS ' ... great ... how can I when I don't have a PC other than my work one which is locked-down and I can't load up the BB desktop and plug in my phone to the USB.

 

Why can't BB send out a fix ... or do they want me to buy their latest and greatest phone and OS ... if that is the case, then they are out of luck, cos judging from current experience, there is no way I would buy another of their phones.

 

Can someone suggest a fix for my ' paper weight ' ... please.

Borrow a friend PC to reload your os maybe??
