WARRANTY/ BACK UP

Hi i have a Torch 9800  it was bought in Geneva June, Last year and i'm in Nairobi, Kenya is it possible to find out if my warranty has expired?

 

2) I used to backup my info can i access it even though my phone is off?

there is an IPD reader to look at some info from backup

 

I have not used it to give more advice.
