Hi, Does anyone know when Skype will be available on the BB Torch 9860?

You need to ask O2, as skype is available for some carriers now, as Verizon in the US, on the BlackBerry.

Thanks for your reply.
I have asked O2 but they said its nothing to do with them they dont know... told me to contact skype or RIM....
I have contacted Skype and they dont know... I really need Skype on my phone... I know its available on the BB Torch 9850 so I would of thought it should be available on the 9860 but its not yet
Do you not know then?

And the 9850 is a Verizon device.
Skype is not limited by device model... the 9860 is fully capable of running Skype, IF O2 allowed it.
They lied to you. I know what I am talking about.

Yup, like I said, your mobile provider does not allow it. That's why.
And, there's no Skype app for O2 BlackBerrys, so I have no idea what you're downloading.

No sorry I dont think you are understanding me... My partner has the BB 9850 and his network is O2 he is able to use Skype so its nothing to do with the netowrk provider!
Its to do with the phone BB Torch 9860. This is why I have asked the question on here 'when will it be available on the BB Torch 9860.

And, on the back of the device battery cover, who's vendor name is on there?
Or, while on the device homescreen of the 9850, press and HOLD DOWN the escape key (just right of the trackpad)
and touch the upper left corner, upper right corner, then again the upper left and upper right.
That will bring up the HELP ME! screen.
What is the vendor ID of the device?
