When keyboard slider is open screen won't tilt

Hi I'm not sure if this is by design or a bug, but if you have the physical keyboard open, then you try to flip the screen horizontall, the screen doesn't flip. You have to close the keyboard slider then it flips. Not a big deal but it can be a little annoying depending upon your use case... Feature or possible design bug? Regards
