The daughter wants to upgrade from her 9300. Shes decided she wants a tocuh phone back, so looked at options. 9380 (too small screen), 9810 (maybe, but bulky), and the 9860.
However I'm in UK and the 9860 isnt even listed on the smartphone list of phones. Am I buying a dud here? is it not supported anymore? why is it not shown, was it that bad?
I will have to buy this SIM free or PAYG, as shes mid contract.
anyone please? and comments on the actual phone?
cheers

Do you in fact mean the 9860? The full touch screen Torch model?

I'm afraid I dont recognise the model 9870 or seem to be able to find one on Google etc.

Not sure why its not listed, but you can purchase SIM free from Play.com at least

I've never had any dealings buying a phone off play.com so I cant comment.
I've borrowed my cousins a few times and its ok, the touchscreen keyboard does take some getting used to but I have always had a preference for a physical keyboard.

Be sure to read this:
While it refers to eBay, it applies to buying any used BlackBerry.

thanks for the link, I will check, I'd rather buy new from a shop, Expansys, clove, handtec, Amazon, but the phones are really expensive..

It's a good keyboard, the 9810 is pretty popular, and I have several friends who love their 9810. The ones I used were great.
