I've only had this phone a month and it won't boot up.
Sometimes when I put the battery in it begins to boot up, the freezes and stops. It then intermittently flashes red twice while the battery is in or connected to charger.
Tried connecting to BB Desktop to restore factory settings but can't get it to connect until the device has booted up (whic it won't)...
Any help appreciated!

Plug your phone into your PC and open BlackBerry Desktop Software. If your phone doesn't get recognized (due to the continuous booting up cycle), remove your battery while the phone is still connected to your PC. Wait for the reboot and see if it gets recognized by BDS. If not, try once again making sure to keep the phone connected to your PC. You might have to try this a few times before it clicks, but it usually does so don't give up on it.
I hope that helps you. ![]()

I have tried this, the BDS recognises the phone is there, but says it cannot perform any actions until the Torch has booted up (which it won't). I have read some other similar forum posts and apparently the F-S1 batteries are faulty. I have already had this battery replaced twice so I may go get a new one.
Thanks anyway!
