For the past 4-5 days I have only been receiving some of the emails that are on Yahoo Mail when checked online. There doesn't seem to be a pattern. Two emails from same sender - sometimes only one will be on BB inbox. There are not any filters set up on the BB.
I have tried resetting to factory default and restoring to a backup from BB Desktop. I can send emails fine from the BB - sometimes the auto BCC works sometimes not.
The Torch is about 11 months old and worked perfectly prior to this. It is doing my head in.... any suggestions?

Welcome to the forums.
Sounds like you may have an issue with the service book database. Try clearing your Service Book database then resend Service Books and test again.

I wish it was that simple..... have deleted and resent service books several times already trying to solve this. I'm having to resort to cross-checking my Yahoo mail via the browser when not at a computer to make sure nothing important is missing..

Hey wisteria53,
One thing that may be causing this to happen is a corrupted messages database on the device. You can clear this database using the following article. Note this will wipe all the messages from your device.

In the 22 hours since deleting the messages as suggested above (following deleting and resending service books yesterday and previous full wipes, service book resends and reinstalls):
14 messages show up on the Blackberry Torch
of the 14:
6 were forwarded from my other account via Gmail
8 were sent directly to my Yahoo account
22 messages received online in Yahoo (includes the 14)
of the 22:
7 were Gmail forwards
15 were emails to Yahoo
So, no solution yet.

just an update, really frustrating and not getting any better....
since 11.30pm on 3rd October (60 hours):
40 messages show up on the Blackberry Torch
of the 40:
13 were forwarded from my other account via Gmail
27 were sent directly to my Yahoo account
64 messages received online in Yahoo (includes the 40)
of the 64:
20 were Gmail forwards
44 were emails to Yahoo
several messages are from the same person/company and randomly do or don't show up on the BB
anyone out there with another idea?

At this point it would be recommended you contact your mobile network provider and ask this issue be transferred to RIM to have this investigated.

As quickly as it started, the problem has now stopped happening. For the past 4 days all messages are being delivered to both online and BB inboxes.
I still don't know what triggered it in the first place. I also don't think it was fixed by anything I tried to do to correct it either. All frustratingly random.
My next stop would have been an escalation via provider O2 to RIM.... maybe that scared the BB back into line!
