For deleting apps go to App World > My World. Once all of your installed apps are populated choose the desired app and press menu button and select Delete. You might have to have a device reboot.

There is also now an uninstall or delete. So if you may ever want this app back, just uninstall it and it will go in your uninstalled app in App World.
