with all the news about blackberry 10 coming. will a upgrade for existing blackberry phones available ? or do i need to buy a new phone to get blackberry 10?

You will have to get a new phone. The only existing device to get the bb10 upgrade is the playbook.

Hello Wolf359,

I have been wanting to comfrim that the Playbook will get BB10 when it comes out. I understand the QNX and what it means to the Playbook but I haven't be able to find any information about that. It's what has kept me from purchasing a Playbook.

If you have any links that shed more light on that it would be great.

What you're asking is a forward-thinking question, the kind of question that big tech companies rarely answer. Anything you find out on this subject will more than likely be speculation by somebody.

BB10 launches in about three weeks.....hang in there!

That's what I thought too, but was hoping for some info even if it's speculation.
