calender

For reasons unknown my desktop organiser section suddenly says 'calender (not installed)'.

 

I have not knowingly reconfigured anything. but clearly  I cannot sync the calender now.

 

I have tried removing the software and reinstalling but the same problem persists.

 

I recently removed the BBM and Facebook applications on my device by using the desktop facility as they were annoying as they sought to access my calender, I do not know if that is connected with this issue?

Many thanks.

 

It has worked.

 

But now I have another problem! the desktop software when loading seems to freeze towards the end with the install window remaining open and the winzip folder also open.

 

I can actually see the shortcut on my desktop and access the software.

 

However, to get rid of the window I have to press cancel install.

 

I can still use the software but when I try to configure it says 'unknown error'.

 

I have tried to remove and reisntall but the control panel cannot find the software.

Good deal.  The only thing I can think of is to install the desktop manager on top of the current installation.

It should fix any errors, recreate the shortcuts, control panel entries, etc.

OKay, it worked, full wipe, reinstall and synced, great!!!!

 

 

However ......went to do a new sync and the device is wanting to delete all my calender entries off my pc!!

 

the configuration for calender is 'two way sync'.

 

All other organiser syncs are two way and working fine. Just the cla the calender.

 

Help!

I am not sure whay that is happening.  It could be trying to prevent duplicate calendar entries, but I can't verify this.

Another option for you is to use blackberry protect to backup you calendar and other data just in case something happens.

set in desktop manager to sync one way to device so the entries wont be deleted first time on sync
