Hi there, i hvae update my BBM to last version which is BBM7 after that i can't recive massages from my contact list. also when someone try to add me in BBM a did not get the add request but when i add someone he recive the add request and when he accpete it ; its stays pending for ever. anyone can help me with this problem
i have torch 9800
platform 6.6.0223
app version 6.0.0.600 (2647)

Did you restore your contacts after you upgraded? What version of Blackberry Messenger were
running?
There is a new feature in BBMv7 regarding contacts using the Blackberry ID to restore them.

"As of BBM 7 the BlackBerry Messenger contacts are associated with the BBID (BlackBerry Identity). Backing up through BlackBerry Desktop Software will no longer backup BBM as the contacts are not stored locally on the device any longer in a database. When the customer moves to a new BlackBerry smartphone and logs in with the same BBID her BBM contacts will populate on the new BlackBerry smartphone."

BBM 6.2.0.44 was running on my phone before i upgrade it. Yes i restored my contacts but the problem that when I contact them they receive my massages but I did not receive from them

Do a simple reboot on the BlackBerry in this manner: With the BlackBerry device POWERED ON, remove the battery for a minute, and then reinsert the battery to reboot. A reboot in this manner is prescribed for most glitches and operating system errors, and you will lose no data on the device doing this.
If you still cannot receive messages from your contacts, please ask one of them to send you a PIN message, by opening their Messages/Email folder > press the Menu key > Compose PIN and they will enter your PIN number and send the message. Do you receive it?

Did they send a PIN message?
On the sender's device, does the message show a (D) for delivered?

no the massage does not show (D) on the sender phone
