Hi Laurabeth1313,
There is currently no setting to disable the touchscreen on BlackBerry smartphones that support this capability.

Welcome to the forums, Laurabeth!
As Fozzy said, there is no setting with the device's native software to disable the touchscreen, however there are app you can find in AppWorld to accomplish this.
One such app (which I use) is TalkLock, and it's function is just that.....locks the touchscreen while you're on a call. There are other apps that you'll find to lock your device that are more customizable than just the phone, but for your purposes (and mine), TalkLock would be the way to go.....very simple app. Just install it and it works! ![]()

Thanks so much for your help, I will try that app. I can't believe its not a settings option on the phone. Have a great day!

Thanks for replying. You's think for being a smartphone there would be a setting to shut that off.

Until I got TalkLock, I would either use a bluetooth headset or navigate away from the phone options while on a call.
