Actually, given all the confusion, I'd leave everything exactly as it is and ring up Orange. Then do whatever they tell you to do, and only when they tell you to do it. They need to be watching "behind the scenes" so that things happen at the correct times...if you move things around, their system will try to do some more automatic things, which could just make matters more confusing for them to unravel.
You've not messed me about at all -- the regular volunteers who hang out here do so because we like helping folks get their situations solved! The gratitude is our only reward.
