frozen

Hi, I am in need of some assistance, my 9860 rebooted itself today and froze on load/start up screen. The white status bar made it to the bb button and will not go past. I have tried the hard reset and the same thing happens. Anyone know a fix to this issue??

Thank you, Maxxshaune

Re: frozen

Try starting up in Safe Mode.

Then, go to Options > Device > Application Management and delete any third party themes or latest applications you installed.

From there, start back up in normal mode .and see what happens.

Re: frozen

Sometimes holding down the escape key at just the right time can put it in Safe Mode, right after the red LED blinks, or after the white bar starts loading. Try it different ways. Keep holding it down.

Re: frozen

I appreciate your efforts trying to resolve this issue, but alas it will not go into safe mode, I have tried holding the back button down at various times thoughout the start up...before red light, half way through red light, after the light goes out, and when the white status bar comes up...this is very frustrating...

Re: frozen

Try leaving the battery out completely for 30-60 minutes.

Re: frozen

Call or go by you local Rogers store. They should support this under warranty.
