how can I update my BB tourch 9800 Os6 to. Os7

Many applications does not work in my phone. What can I do.

The Torch 9800 cannot be updated to OS 7, due to hardware limitations within the phone.  However, the Torch 9810 (which looks exactly like the 9800) runs OS 7.  Grab a new 9810 and you'll be rocking OS 7.

If you're having issues with some apps, tell us which ones are not working to your liking and we can have a look at getting them to work on your phone for you.

Skype is not supported on BlackBerry devices, except if you're a Verizon customer in the U.S.

Viber. It works on OS5 & OS7 but not OS6?!! It seems that the compatibility has skipped a version. to be clear, it's the voice call that is not wroking. texting works fine.

in addition, i cannot simply replace my phone. i have a contract for another 6 months so your recommendation to replace the phone is....not appropriate unless Blackberry wants to give me an upgrade at no charge without contract.
