how to set up browser and other functions?

hi there, i have recently activated the data plan on my phone, and now i am still not able to set up the connection so i can use it on the go. when i'm connected to home wi-fi i can use the browser but not other apps like windows msger, and when i'm out even though i do have a data plan on my phone i'm not able to use the browser, or anything. i can't set up email either because the error msg keeps showing up saying i don't have the right configurations/failed to connect to server. can someone help me please?

could this be because i'm in nz and the systems are slightly different? the options of setting up most things on the phone don't quite make sense to me. i hope there is someway i can fix this!

Re: how to set up browser and other functions?

Hello Carllin,

This issue sounds like you may not have the correct BlackBerry services, i would suggest contacting your service provider to verify they have enable your BlackBerry data services.

Thanks

Hi carlin,

What you could also try is to go to "Options/Device/Advanced System Settings/Host Routing Table"

Click the Blackberry button and click on "Register Now".

This will attempt to re-register you on your service providers network for BB.

If this doesn't work you'll have to contact your service provider as hatchback recommended.
