Can I connect the iPad 3 WiFi Only to my Blackberry Torch 9810?

You can if you have OS 7.1 installed on your Torch. OS 7.1 features Wi-Fi Hotspot which allows you to use your Torch as a Wi-Fi router for up to five wireless devices.
If you're running OS 7.0 or earlier, you'll need to upgrade to 7.1 for this feature to be present. There are instructions elsewhere in these forums on how to update your OS. Just ask us here if you're having trouble with any of it.
I hope that helps you. ![]()

Hi,
I have faced a problem when I try to join with my iPad 3 to the Mobile Hotspot created by my Blackberry Torch 9810. iPad cannot connect to the Hotspot.
The iPad can connect to any other Hotspot, but not to my own Blackberry one, however the Dell laptop works well with it... I haven't found any solution yet!

Depends on your carrier. I know AT&T do charge extra for it.

Similar problem with me, though with BlackBerry 9860 hotspot. Somehow I can connect if I try to pull the battery of my Blackberry, sometimes once, and sometimes several times. But I know this is not the solution. There must be a word on this from Apple and Blackberry. I'm wondering if they hate each other?
