my Torch 9860 suddenly stopped functioning

Since around 2 weeks I have a Torch 9860. Yesterday evening, when I was not using the device the Torch suddenly stopped functioning. When I turned it on again it said it was setting up but it didn't do anything. So after a few minutes I turned it off and on again but now it didn't react at all (so sreen stays black, no button lightens up etc.).

I can't get it turned on again, not even when I removed the battery for a few minutes. I also tried to charge it again as I wanted to be sure the battery was charged but this doesn't help either.

 

Has anyone had a similar problem? Does anyone has a suggestion on how to fix this problem?

first, try connecting the device to the BlackBerry Desktop Manager,
secondly if that doesnt work contact @BlackBerryHelp on twitter!
