Hey. My wifi doesn't work ( i cant surf) with data services off. and if i keep data services on that is if my blackberry services..and surf the webpages ..my balance gets decducted..but i have unlimited blackberry plan. and on the first place my balance shouldnt be deducted because i am using my wifi ( in case my page gets open through wifif not blackberry services) and if i am using my balckberry internet either way my balances shouldnt get decducted. i have torch 9800 and my service provider is VODAFONE INDIA please help me out cus i cant use my wifi..without bbm services..

Correct, if you have Data Servies = OFF, you will get NO data... no WiFi or mobile network data.
And no your balance should not get deducted while using WiFi. You need to contact Vodafone India about that and dispute those deductions.

but i bc to my bbm friends "does their wifi works with data services off " and all of them said their wifi works data services and even i used my wifi without data services when i have other network provider airtel india and then i reset my phone and then i suscribed for vodafone bb services...so i cant understand why all this happening.
where ru from ? have tried ur wifi without data services..??

Trust me, their WiFi will not work with Data Services turned off.
I know there is some language barrier here, but I have not idea what you just wrote, very difficult to discern your question.

What device and OS are you using?
With my torch 9860 on OS 7.1.0.402 i can still have BBM and surf with data services off and wifi on.
On a 9860 with OS 7.0.0.440 it will not work.
They must have changed some thin in OS 7.1 to make this work.

i have OS 6 Torch 9800
My friend has curve with os 6 and he can use wifi without data services.
ealier my wifi used to work with data services off when i was with other network provider ( Airtel ) and then changed my network provider to Vodafone and now i noticed i cant use my wifi with data services on
Is there anything related to service book or host routing table ?

i jst want to tell you that I broadcasted the same question to my bbm friends nd all of them said their wifi works with data services off
