Hey guys,
Thanks for all your help.
I am back again with the same issue.
Apparently MTN thought it was a network issue but ift turns out that it is not. Now my situation has grown from bad to worse. It looks like I have to do a reboot after every hour. I am in the process of deleting all non-stock apps to see just in case there is an app causing the problem.

I noticed that the phone looses signal and sos appears in red after which the problem occurs. I swapped my MTN sim card and inserted an airtel Sim card and the problem still persists.

I will consider downgrading to Os7.0 as a last resort. if the problem still persist after that, then I will consider my investment in a blackberry as a wasteful investment and just discard the phone and try to look for money to get an iphone again.

Any advice will be greatly appreciated
