Re: setting up email issues

I have no idea what OWA is, so im guessing not.

I can access the account fine from a laptop or anywhere else.

I have checked and checked and checked to make sure the characters are correctly typed., using the 'show password' option, so its not that.

OWA is Outlook Web Access, a web-mail interface that looks and feels like the full Outlook client. If you use that, there would be rather obvious indications that it is such.

Using what, please? Thunderbird? Outlook? WebMail? Something else?

Then the remaining parts of what I posted above plus in this post may be important to resolving this.

Re: setting up email issues

OK...as OWA...first thing, I've had it happen where, for reasons I could never understand, I could not get an OWA to integrate via the on-device email configuration wizard. Consequently, please try these alternatives:

  1. From a PC/Browser, your carriers BIS website...not knowing which "O2" you are on, I can't guide you to that URL, but this KB might be helpful as to the process:
    • KB03133 How to integrate a Microsoft Outlook Web Access email address with a BlackBerry Internet Service account
  2. From your BB Browser, this URL -- www.blackberry.com/integrate.

Otherwise, you may want to talk to the admins about these KBs:

  • KB18567 BlackBerry Internet Service cannot connect to a Microsoft Outlook Web Access account using Microsoft Exchange 2007 or Microsoft Exchange 2010
  • KB03133 How to integrate a Microsoft Outlook Web Access email address with a BlackBerry Internet Service account
  • KB04804 Error message appears when attempting to integrate a Microsoft Outlook Web Access 2010 account
  • KB02858 Unable to integrate a Microsoft Outlook Web Access email address with a BlackBerry Internet Service account

Good luck!

Re: setting up email issues

"Resolution section"? I don't know what you mean by that. When I go to that URL on my BB, I get a page that starts with "Integrate your Email" and has a button for "Launch Email Setup". Are you not getting that result?

Re: setting up email issues

Oh...well, did I not say "you may want to talk to the admins about these KBs"??? Those are articles about the sometimes special things that must be done, on the server side, in order to integrate some OWA installations...
