I recebtly received a notification that I needed to upgrade my software before a certain date. I scheduled the update for last night as the message said it could take a few hours and my phone would not be available during that time. this morning I checked my phone and it is stuck on "Backing Up Your Data" >>> below that it reads "social feeds at 0%"
and "overall backup progress at 8%" it has been stuck here since I checked it this AM at 10AM...I noticed that the network connection is "off". I have pulled the battery and it goes right back to this page...
What do I need to do????

Welcome to the BlackBerry Support Community.
I would suggest trying to reload your BlackBerry® Device Software using the BlackBerry® Desktop Software. You may need to force a connection with the BlackBerry® Desktop Software. The steps in one of the following KB articles should help.

If you are using a Mac: http://bbry.lv/NtreH7
Please note that this will remove all data from your BlackBerry® 8820 smartphone. If you have a previously taken backup file, you should be able to restore information from that file.
