Hi,

since yesterday i`m unable to connect my 9800 with Desktop software. "uable to communicate"

i try device update -> No updates found/needed

i try update of device software -< one tim work, then never again.

PS. taskplaner sync options are in v6.10 lightyears better!

Any hints for me????????

Check to make sure you have the latest verison of the desktop software whis is v6.1.0 (PC) to check that go to the top right coner of the desktop software click on the ?'s and click on About desktop Software. If it is not the 6.1.0 go to www.blackberry.com and to the software tab.

also you can go to your device manager and where it was universal serial bus controllers expand that and the ones that says USB Root Hub, right click then go to properties and make sure that "allow the computer to turn off device to save power."

and one last thing... Make sure computer is updated itself.

Hi,

alle done before. even cold reset doesnt work.

the only way: with the device software loader i could delete an new load the whole OS, without able to backup settings.

now it works all.

it was the 2nd time within one year!
