when I try to connect to the internet I get the arror 'unable to connect to the internet please try later'
I have a torch9860 on vodaphone with a data plan.
I have a good wifi connection and my laptops connect without problem
my mobile network is enabled
my wifi connection is enabled
I tried to enable mobile hotspots but i get the message 'cannot start mobile hotspot due to a temporary network problem'
calls are fine
all my emails are being received ok
I upgraded my os to the latest version and the problem went away for a while but it has returned
i can download apps through app world
any idea what I can do? I don't really want to reload my os every couple of days!

My main screen shows both 'vodafone uk' and 'netgear' as my connections at the top above the clock (netgear is my wifi network name).
In manage connections I have both ticked and under 'connect and manage wifi networks' it shows a connection to 'netgear' and if i tap on it it says' your device is already connected'. What is it that suggests to you i'm not connected to wifi?

Because you said, "connected to mobile" in my question above. Wifi is always the preferred connection when it is connected, and your BIS connection would say "WiFi" if you were fully connected to Wifi.
