I looked and all the instructions above and the only OS i see that can be download to my pc is for a 9530 5.0, I have a 9850 7.1. Could you please be more specific which thread i will find where I can find a download my OS on to my pc for a 9850 7.1.   Once again thanks in advance

ok. i'm past that, now i cant find apploader in DM. I have blackberry desktop software but i dont think i have device manager. I got to download it and it says i have it already. I'm stuck again

now for some reason my browser icon is missing and when i got to it it says my browser has been blocked, and i cant get it back??????

Now after trying to re install my OS, my browser icon is missing and even when i push on blackberry menu it's no there either. Please help!!!!!!

Browser won't be there until you've completely followed the instructions in the link

can not find apploader in my device manager? browser icon still missing and when i go to blackberry menu and hit the browser it says I dont have browser service books.

Apploader is located where the instructions state. It's not a separate download.
Now, you MUST read and follow those instructions EXACTLY as written and in order.

Plug in device and open DM > AppLoader

 this is where im stuck i open my devie manager and there is no apploader

Ok, I see. Are you using the BlackBerry desktop software version 7?
If so, you will need to uninstall v7 and.install an earlier.v6.0 or lower of the desktop software. There is a link in that same forum for the old versions, located in the RIM software section of that forum.
