yahoo messenger

Hi...i'm using the yahoo messenger application for 2 years on my phone....since monday evening, when i want to log in on my yahoo messenger, i get the next error : internal error , try again later...can't make connection with the server. My internet works fine on my phone. I've contacted yahoo and they don't know what can be wrong. Is anyone having the same problems ?? I removed it and downloaded it again...and it's the same.

What is your current yahoo version? Check whether there is any update available for the app.

i downloaded the latest version...and i checkt...there is no update available. And what is strange...my son has a windows 7 phone, i tried to download it on his phone, and i get the same error.

You can't download the BlackBerry application to a Windows7 phone. Not possible.

 

Do this on your BlackBerry...

  • Go to Options > Device > Application Management.
  • Scroll to the Yahoo app and delete it.
  • Do a simple reboot on the BlackBerry in this manner: With the BlackBerry device POWERED ON, remove the battery for a minute, and then reinsert the battery to reboot.
  • Return to AppWorld and download the Yahoo Messenger application again.

On your Manage Connections screen, click on the Services Status.
What is the status of the BlackBerry Internet Service?

Hi I also face the same prob in yahoo messenger in my bb curve 8520. When I try to login it says " internal error,please try again later", " cannot connect to the server". Plz help to fix it. I m using yahoo messenger V.3.0.0.23.

nabisheck,

  • go to Options > Advanced > Applications and delete Yahoo Messenger.

  • Now, using your BlackBerry go to mobile.blackberry.com
  • Scroll down to Communicate > Instant Messaging
  • Scroll to Yahoo Messenger and download it again.
