9630 - E-Mail & Browser

Hi out there!

 

I've got a 9630 (originally from Verizon/USA). It ist unlocked. I do not have booked a BB-Option from my carrier.

 

Now i am wondering why i cannot setup a privat email-account because the device only offers to setup a company-BB-email. Furthermore i cannot install another email-client form the app-store.

 

Is the a workaround?

Many carriers block Verizon devices from the networks. That is one possible cause.

Another possible cause is a leftover IT Policy. I would perform a factory reset on the device:
