I think i may have Solved the poor Audio Issues that are plauging thousands of blackberry tours !! Im so Excited!
I just did a full handheld wipe and it SOLVED all audio issues. People now say i sound perfect on both regular audio and speakerphone!
Before no one could hear me and it was unsuable!
Here are the simple instructions for a Handheld Wipe:
1) Backup your Tour to desktop software Application.
2) goto: Options, Security Options, General Settings, Then hit the Blackberry Key and choose "Wipe Handheld". It should take about 8-9 minutes but i can tell you that it works and its worth it the wait. I have a new phone.
I would like everyone to post there results here.

WARNING:
Doing this ^^ will delete ALL contacts, data, preferences, calendar, etc., from your device.
Quite honestly, this mmm208 character is posting faulty advice. He doesn't even advise how to restore the information you've wiped. And to make a backup, the more clear instructions would be explained to say "Use Desktop Manager > Backup/Restore to make a complete backup first."
Don't do it unless you are willing to lose all data on your device, and you know how to do a complete Restore from a backup, if you make one.

FYI.... You can restore your BB after a wipe with the BB Desktop software 5.0. (as long as you had backed it up )
Its the same software that comes with every blackberry.
Its not that complicated.
After doing this all of my audio issues have completly been cured.
UPDATE!~ My co-worker in sales just called me to thank me . He followed my directions and now his tour audio is working as it should.

1. Without any warning or reasoning, a new user following your advice would wipe their device and lose all data and information.
2. You're double-posting this information in this forum in multiple threads, which is just bad etiquette and rude.

You didn't post anything about restoring anything in your initial posts. You did, after being questioned.
Please be reasonable. Shouting and USING ALL CAPS won't make you look sane. ![]()
Just settle down. Anyone with half a brain will read both posts and ask questions. A little warning before wiping a device is a good thing.

I can knot count the amount of times I hear "All my stuff is gone, how do I get it back?" on this and many other forums including PDA's, Cell phones, PC's, Servers, etc...
Trouble is most don't learn to backup, until they lose it all once.

This is true Knotty and Jsanders - we have alot of people that are new that might read this and not realize they needed to back up!! Great catch!
