Does the JL cmdr do any other harm to the phone if it doesn't work?  My BB Torch is stuck on a battery with an x on it.  I'm still not sure what that means? I have a new battery on the way, should I just wait for that one to arrive

Okay, a very quick and simple solution for the "Software Reload - 507" error....

When it fails once at "RECONECTING TO JVM" and gives you an option to 'retry', just remove the device from the PC, and connect it again (make sure batteries inserted). NOW BEFORE THE 507 ERROR SCREEN APPEARS, HIT RETRY ON THE PC.

That oughtta do it.

disconnect the device while reconnecting to jvm appears than reconnect it....

I've done quite possibly everything,

when it gets to reconnecting JVM in app loader, my phone keeps going through a massive cycle and gets up to the BB loading bar and doesnt do anything for around 10 seconds then reboots again :/

i had the same issue iv fixed it, take your keybored of and screws out and then check for any bent wireing of owt, then put your screws back in very tight make sure then in properly, even press it down abit to see if you can see any bit of the screw then put them all back in, and it should come back on and use app loader to reload your software WORKED FOR ME!
