BBM PLS HELP!!

Hi. Im a new user and this is my first post on here. 

 

I have a 9630. Having issues with bbm. Sending messages with my girlfriend and everything is fine then out of the blue my message will never change from delivered to received and the messages she tries to send to me never send. 

 

Have found a temporary fix of toggling my network connection on/off. But this usually only works for about an hour before it all happens again. 

 

Have tried battery pull, reinstalling bbm, and sending registration again. Cant seem to figure anything out. 

 

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

How long as this been happening? It could be just a temp network issue in your area.

 

Otherwise, try deleting your BBMessenger and reinstalling.

 

Back up BBM first (open BBM > Options > Backup, both locally to the media card and remotely.

Delete BBM from Options > Advanced > Applications.

Do a simple reboot on the BlackBerry in this manner: With the BlackBerry device POWERED ON, remove the battery for a minute, and then reinsert the battery to reboot.

Now, reinstall your BBMessenger using your BlackBerry browser, go to www.blackberry.com/bbm to download and reinstall

So far so good. Hopefully this will work. I will mark solution if it works for a day or so bc my toggling worked for up to about an hour each time.

I actually switched to an android device because of this issue about a month ago. So, if it's a network issue it must be a pretty big one. But I couldnt stay away from blackberry, so I really want to get this issue resolved.

I don't see any others posting about similar issues, and of course I don't know where you are other than in the US, and I've had no issues with BBM on Verizon lately, so it's not a system-wide network issue, which is only reason to think it could be some local tower issue.

 

And of course where you're using your device, according to the signal strength at your location, you could intermittently lose and regain service.

 

But I hope you've fixed it now.
