Hello,my uncle who resides in Maryland USA bought and send me a Verizon Wireless branded Blackberry Tour(9630)sometimes in JUNE/JULY 2011.I enjoyed it for three months then it started malfunctioning ie no voice nor data service displaying an "SOS"(emergency number only!even when the service provider network is on)and later a"NO SERVICE" displayed.I tried several troubleshooting options and rebooting and later took it to a qualified technician who told me its a factory problem.Thereafter it worked for a month and since FEBRUARY the "NO SERVICE"icon came back(no voice nor data service.PLS HELP

Hi and Welcome to the Community!!
I suggest the following steps, in order, even if they seem redundant to what you have already tried (steps 2 and 3 each should result in a message coming to your BB...please wait for that before proceeding to the next step):
1) Register on VZW
2) Register HRT
3) Delete and Resend Service Books
4) Batt Pull Reboot
Hopefully that will get things going again for you! If not, then you will need to talk to VZW as they are responsible for ALL of your formal support, even if it's a "factory problem".
