Hello everybody!

I'm new here. It seems the best place to find a solution to my problem. I have a Blackberry tour 9630 and I want to disable the SMS Text delivery report  but I can't find the option on my blackberry. I mean, there IS NOT the option on my blackberry. I know where it should be (Oprtions- Sms/Text-...) but ther isn't. My problem is that I pay every single report like a text message so when i send a text, it's like i pay twice the cost of an sms. What can i do?

Is there anybody who can help me?

In this case we can try to reload the software on the BlackBerry smartphone to make sure it is running the latest version and there are no issues with the OS.

Thank you Dr_Palto for the advice but I've already tried that. I also tried to instlall an old device software (4.7...) to see if the delivery notification option appeared but nothing changed. Now it's updated to the last version and I start to doubt that in this phone there isn't the option to remove de sms delivery notification.

by the I have to say that it seems impossible to me that a device like blackberry whit so many options that you can change everything but the delivery notification. Shame on rim for that. I really dont know what to do now except paying every single sms twice because of Rim.

No, I'm sorry I didn't solve it. Unfortunately it appears it's not possible

I have just been trying to do this as well.

It is very cheeky Blackberry the way you have to do it!!

You have to go into each individual text thread and go to options in that and turn the delivery reports off that way. However it doesn't save your preferences so everytime you text someone you have to remember to turn the delivery reports off first. 

At least this is the only way I have discovered how to do it!

It has really annoyed me as it is adding money to my bill each month and there is no way it seems to turn it off permenently!! 

I have a Blackberry 9300, so not sure if it is different on other makes!
