Hi just to confirm after you downloaded the sync this way does in sync automatically without the options freezing up. 

I have no trouble downloading by sending the link to the phone via a text message from Google. Once it was installed it would not run correctly. 

It will just about complete the manual sync with a battery pull.

Thing is in browser. if your not at your desktop, you can solve this by installing another browser - i suggest Opera mini. All works then.
